I’m a runner, and for the past few months, I had been dealing with a nagging pain in my left calf that kept getting worse. I visited Twelve Meridian and experienced cupping therapy for the first time, and it was truly a game-changer. The session brought noticeable relief, and five days later, I’m still pain-free, which is why I’m writing this review now. The space itself is calming and professional, and the entire experience felt very thoughtfully guided. A special thanks to Ms. Soniya for her skilled and attentive approach — she made me feel completely at ease and clearly knows her craft well. I’m grateful for the care and highly recommend Twelve Meridian to anyone seeking lasting relief.

  • Had a great experience at Twelve Meridian for back and shoulder Pain. The therapist conducted a proper assessment before starting the session. The combination of Back cupping and IASTM gave me immediate relief from stiffness and deep muscle tension. Felt light, relaxed, and pain-free right after. Professional therapist and a very comfortable environment. Will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended.

What a recovery session looks like

Cup → Release → Move → Stretch, plus a take-home routine.

  1. Practitioner placing a cup on a client's back, then gliding it along the muscle

    Cup

Moving cups along the muscles you train hardest; static cups on the tightest spots.

  2. Practitioner in purple gloves pressing into tight muscle on a client's lower back

    Release

Trigger point release on the knots, plus Theragun on the big muscle groups.

  3. Man in a gym with cups on his lower back, bending forward into a hip hinge

    Move

Movement tuned to your sport and your training week.

  • 10 minWe ask where it hurts and how it started, then check how you move.
  • 30–40 minCup, Release, Move, Stretch, adjusted to what you're comfortable with.
  • 5 minYour take-home routine, and an honest view on whether you need another session.

When to book

You don't need to wait until something stops you training.

  • After a heavy training block

When everything feels tight and you want to move more freely going into the next one.

  • When a niggle hasn't settled

If something has bothered you for a week or two and isn't easing on its own.

  • A few days before an event

So you feel less tight on the day, and any cup marks or soreness have time to fade.

  • Can I train after?

Usually, yes. We may suggest lighter work on the area we worked on for a day, then keep training as normal.

Training and recovery questions

All questions
Can I train after a session?

Usually, yes. Light training or mobility work the same day is fine, and most people train as normal the next day. We may suggest going lighter on the area we worked on for a day.

When should I book around training?

Many people book after a heavy training block, when a niggle hasn't settled in a week or two, or a few days before an event so any marks and soreness have time to fade.

My trainer suggested cupping. What should I tell you?

Tell us what training you do, when your next session or event is, and where it feels tight. We'll plan the session around your training.

Will it leave marks?

Usually, yes. Cupping leaves round marks, from pink to dark red or purple, that fade within a few days to a week. If you have a match, event or wedding coming up, tell us and we'll plan around it.

Does cupping hurt?

It feels like a strong pulling or stretching sensation. Most people find it relieving rather than painful, and we adjust the suction to what you're comfortable with.
