Had a great experience at Twelve Meridian for back and shoulder Pain. The therapist conducted a proper assessment before starting the session. The combination of Back cupping and IASTM gave me immediate relief from stiffness and deep muscle tension. Felt light, relaxed, and pain-free right after. Professional therapist and a very comfortable environment. Will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended.

I’m a runner, and for the past few months, I had been dealing with a nagging pain in my left calf that kept getting worse. I visited Twelve Meridian and experienced cupping therapy for the first time, and it was truly a game-changer. The session brought noticeable relief, and five days later, I’m still pain-free, which is why I’m writing this review now. The space itself is calming and professional, and the entire experience felt very thoughtfully guided. A special thanks to Ms. Soniya for her skilled and attentive approach — she made me feel completely at ease and clearly knows her craft well. I’m grateful for the care and highly recommend Twelve Meridian to anyone seeking lasting relief.

Release. Restore. Keep moving.
What happens in your session
Cup → Release → Move → Stretch

Cup
Static cups on the tightest spots, moving cups along longer muscles.

Release
Trigger point release and acupressure on the knots that keep coming back.

Move
Guided dynamic movement, so the area works properly again.
- 10 min We ask where it hurts and how it started, then check how you move.
- 30–40 min Cup, Release, Move, Stretch, adjusted to what you're comfortable with.
- 5 min Your take-home routine, and an honest view on whether you need another session.
Cup → Release → Move → Stretch, plus a take-home routine.
What it is, and how it feels
Round cups create suction that lifts the skin and the muscle underneath, which can help ease muscles that feel stiff, knotted or overworked.
It feels like a strong pulling, stretching sensation, and we adjust the suction to what you're comfortable with. It's dry cupping: no needles and no cuts.
Is this hijama? No.
Hijama is wet cupping, with small cuts. We only do dry cupping: no needles, no cuts, no blood.
Static cups, moving cups
Most sessions use both, followed by release, movement and stretching.

Static cups
Stay in one spot for a few minutes, on areas like the lower back or around the shoulder blade.

Moving cups
Glide along longer muscles, like the hamstrings or the muscles either side of the spine.
Cup marks
Wear the marks.

Aftercare: Drink some water, keep moving lightly the same day, and train as usual unless the area feels tender. Then go lighter on it for a day.

What does cupping feel like?
A pulling, stretching feeling as the cup lifts the skin and muscle. It's rarely painful, and we adjust the suction to what you're comfortable with.
Will it leave marks?
Usually, yes. Cupping leaves round marks, from pink to dark red or purple, that fade within a few days to a week. If you have a match, event or wedding coming up, tell us and we'll plan around it.
How long do the cups stay on?
Usually a few minutes in one spot. With moving cupping we glide the cup along the muscle instead. It's one part of a 30–60 minute session.
When isn't cupping right for me?
Tell us before your session if you're pregnant, take blood-thinning tablets, have broken or irritated skin in the area, or have a fever. If the pain started with a fall or a sudden pop, or there's swelling or numbness that spreads, check with a doctor first.
Is there evidence for cupping?
Research on cupping is still limited, and everyone responds differently. That's one reason we never rely on cups alone: every session also includes release, movement and stretching, and we'll give you an honest view after your first visit.
